Quick chroot notes

chroot_local_user=YES
Enable user chrooting.
passwd_chroot_enable=YES
If this is set to NO or is absent, local users are chroot'd to their home directory.
If this is set to YES, chroot local user to the directory specified as /./ in their home directory in /etc/passwd. Example:
ftpTest:x:500:501::/opt/ftp/./private/ftpTest:/sbin/nologin
...chroot directory is /opt/ftp

This is a collection of techical information, much of it learned the hard way. Consider it a lab book or a /info directory. I doubt much of it will be of use to anyone else.
