arp -a is to brief. In keeping with the new trend of banging in long command names, we need a suitable long command that does the same thing.

# ip neighbour show

+1 for accepting Canadian spelling.

Other useful things that you can do:

ip neighbor add lladdr 00:1c:23:65:b9:20 dev ens192 nud permanent
Create a static arp entry for on interface ens192
ip neighbor change lladdr 00:1c:23:65:b9:20 dev ens192 nud permanent
Change an existing entry into a permanent static entry. I had to do this because the arp table had an entry of FAILED that I couldn't flush or del away.

This is a collection of techical information, much of it learned the hard way. Consider it a lab book or a /info directory. I doubt much of it will be of use to anyone else.
