Basic Port Forwarding

Here is a poor man's way to do port forwarding on a Linux node: >>http://www.boutell.com/rinetd/ I used this as a short-term kludge for our friends in $REMOTE_OFFICE. Here is the config file:

[root@server log]# cat /etc/rinetd.conf
logfile /var/log/rinetd.log

This is a collection of techical information, much of it learned the hard way. Consider it a lab book or a /info directory. I doubt much of it will be of use to anyone else.
