An Example Of Linux Routing

...or, why Linux has to have different semantics for the "route" command than Solaris does, I'll never know.

# route add -net 10.1.0.0 netmask 255.255.0.0 gw 10.1.0.254 metric 1 eth1

# route add -net 10.2.0.0/24 gw 10.0.0.254
