Changing packages from one format to another

ie: Change a package from a file system format to a datastream:

# pkgtrans -s $PATH-TO-DIRECTORY $PKG $PKGFILE
# pkgtrans -s /opt/build SFWvnc SFWvnc-s10-sparc.pkg

This is useful if you have some source media (like the software companion) which has all its packages laid out in file system format and you would like to use the package for installation through another mechanism.
