Some Useful LOM Commands

Command 
poweronpowers on the netra
poweroffpowers off the netra
resetthe same as the ok> reset command
reset -xresets the CPU only, externally initiated reset XIR
breakgoes to the ok> prompt from the OS- "Stop-a"
environmentcurrent status of all components in system
checkupdates component status after repairing it, run "lom> environment" again
show eventlogshow last 10 events on the system
set faultonturns on the fault LED
set faultoffturns off the fault LED
set alarmon [1-3]sets 1 of 3 alarms on
set alarmoff [1-3]sets 1 of 3 alarms off
show modelshow the server model
show hostnamesame as uname -n
showhelp for the "show" command

bootmode -uallows sharing of the console and LOM device
bootmode normalserver boots using the OBP environment settings; must reset server to take effect
bootmode forthserver stops at the "ok>" prompt- same as "Stop-f"; must reset server to take effect
bootmode reset_nvramok> set-defaults" or "Stop-n"; must reset server to take effect
bootmode diagruns full POST: "ok> diag-switch? true" or "Stop-d"; must power off server and back on within 10 minutes
bootmode skip_diagok> setenv diag-switch? false"; must power off server and back on within 10 minutes
