Network Interface Access in Vista is annoying
Clicking six or seven times to get to your LAN interface properties getting on your nerves? Me too!
There are two ways to get to your Network adapters more quickly.
Method One: Access all your network adapters quickly
Start -> run -> ncpa.cpl and click OK
orCreate a shortcut to ncpa.cpl (Make the shortcut single accessible by placing it in your quick launch toolbar)
This also works for Display Properties, just replace ncpa.cpl with desk.cpl
Method Two: Access a specific adapter by shortcut.
Open Network Connections and right click the adapter you want access to. Select Create Shortcut. You’ll be prompted by a dialog box that says the shortcut can be placed on the desktop, say yes. (Make the shortcut single accessible by placing it in your quick launch toolbar)
