BSOD

Blue screen while trying to suspend (I think).

Got back from customer N, unsuspended in the dock at home but didn't stick around to make sure it actually came up.

Went to suspend to go downstairs, closed display. Hard disk flickered for a prolonged period of time then stopped. After five minutes I get tired of waiting and open the display, I see a blue screen.

On reboot (undocked) Vista offers to "check for a solution", I press OK, but I never hear back from Vista.

Oh yes, I had some issue a couple of weeks ago where it wouldn't suspend and I ended up using the power key, but I don't remember the timing or the details.

This is a collection of techical information, much of it learned the hard way. Consider it a lab book or a /info directory. I doubt much of it will be of use to anyone else.
