As I mentioned in other threads, in Ontario, Canada the total usage of energy by homes is 22%. A study showed that changing all of the homes to be completely energy efficient (switching to new efficient appliances, using energy at night instead of daytime etc.) will bring a total saving of less than 10% of total production.
