Changing LSF Cluster Masters

If the new master is already included in the lsf.cluster.<clustername> and lsb.hosts file you simply need to add the new master to "LSF_MASTER_LIST" parameter in your lsf.conf file and run the following on the new master host:

# lsadmin reconfig
# lsadmin limrestart all
no comments | post comment
This is a collection of techical information, much of it learned the hard way. Consider it a lab book or a /info directory. I doubt much of it will be of use to anyone else.
