http://ee-staff.ethz.ch/~oetiker/webtools/rrdtool/This is a tool for making mrtg more efficient and has uses in other data collection applications (for example, RRDBrowse).NotesIf you do a make install, by default it gets installed in /usr/local/rrdtool-version which is fine, but some things won't automatically find it properly if it is installed like that. It is worth also running make site-perl-install as well to install it into the site-perl directory tree. This makes sure that the latest installed version is easilly accessable.
