eGroupware, Again
One of the components in eGroupware is a Site Manager. I was thinking it could be used as a content management system for delivering a combination blog/wiki, similar to what SnipSnap does, only this could actually be run on the TeraByte hosted system. However, after spending a couple of hours with it, it appears to be needlessly complex. One wants to just dive in and
do something with it rather than mess around getting it set up. This is something that the SnipSnap people got right: you have to make it as easy as possible to get people going with your tool so that they use it. This also makes them create on their own the investment in
useful information, rather than just merely
invested personal time, that forces them to learn about the tool and make it do more.
